Conserving the Osa Region

Through the Osa Campaign program, we are hoping to raise awareness and funds from guests to help support the Osa Peninsula Region Conservation Initiatives. Nicuesa Lodge priorities include:

Conserving properties in and around Piedras Blancas National Park under the threat of development,

Sponsoring more park guards to protect the area from illegal hunters/poachers,

The completion of wildlife corridors between Piedras Blancas National Park and Corcovado National Park.

We are also looking into marine conservation initiatives including helping fight a proposed tuna farm in the Golfo Dulce. Please contact the campaign for more information at info@osacampaign.org or www.amigosofcr.org.

How To Support the Cause

People who are already donors to the Nature Conservancy or to Conservation International may make a gift to Osa Campaign through these organizations. Gifts should be made to the Osa Campaign and will be tax deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law. Please contact these organizations directly. Donors who are seeking a U.S. tax deduction may also make a gift to Amigos of Costa Rica/Osa Campaign (CR-USA’s). Be sure to let them know the gift is for the Osa Campaign.
